Central Govt

This Central Govt office is located in Kalyan, specifically at B 5 6 Navannapurna Arti. We are in the Adhar Wadi area, which is a busy part of the city. Kalyan is always crowded, especially near the station, but Adhar Wadi has its own character. The building, Navannapurna Arti, is a typical residential-commercial mix. Our office is just a couple of rooms where we handle the daily government business. The walls are painted a simple cream color, and we have the usual metal cupboards for storage. During the monsoon, the rain hits the windows pretty hard, and it gets quite humid inside. We use old ceiling fans that have been running for years. Most of the staff comes from nearby parts of Thane or Kalyan itself. We know the local shops and the people who run them. It’s not a place where you’ll find fancy interiors. We have a few plastic chairs for visitors who have to wait. The paperwork can get overwhelming sometimes, but we just take it one file at a time. It’s a very human way of working. There’s no corporate talk here, just plain conversation about what needs to be signed or filed. We like being in this part of town because everything is accessible. It’s just a standard government spot doing its bit every day for the people around here.
