Carlson Wagonlit Travel

I work at the Carlson Wagonlit Travel office in Thane East, right near the Siddhivinayak Temple. We are located in Building Number 1 of the Uttam Co Op Housing Society, specifically at 11-A. It is a busy spot because of the temple nearby, so there is always a lot of foot traffic and noise outside our windows. Most days, I am just here at my desk handling flight bookings and looking at hotel rates on a computer screen. The office isn't anything fancy, just a regular place with some desks and a lot of paper. My coworkers and I spend most of the morning answering calls and trying to sort out travel dates for people who need to get somewhere for work or family. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to wait for pages to load while the client is on the phone, which can be annoying. Thane East has a certain feel to it, and being in a housing society makes it feel more like a neighborhood spot than a corporate hub. We keep some brochures around, but mostly it is just us talking to people and checking schedules. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. I have been coming to this same building for a while now, and I know all the local tea stalls around the corner. It is a straightforward job in a straightforward part of town.
