Blue Lotus

We are located over at Owala Koliwada, which is right off Ghodbunder Road. The shop is number 1. It is pretty easy to spot if you are looking for the Mahanagar Gas Station because we are right near there. Also, Hotel Ambrosia is next door, which is a good landmark for people who haven't been to this part of Bhayandar Pada before. Blue Lotus is just a simple shop. We spend most of our time here just managing the daily work. The area can get a bit dusty with all the construction and the traffic on Ghodbunder Road, so we are always wiping down the counters. It’s a lively neighborhood. You see all sorts of people walking by. We have a small back room where we keep extra supplies and have our lunch. It's nothing fancy, just a place to sit for a bit. The street noise is constant, but you stop noticing it after the first hour. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out. We aren't trying to be some big corporate office. We are just local people doing our thing. Most of our day is spent handling orders and talking to folks who stop in. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of things on paper or the computer. By the time evening rolls around, we’re usually ready to pack up and head home like everyone else in the building.
