You can find us at Rutu Enclave, specifically in F 3 604 on Ghodbunder Road. Being in Thane West means we deal with that famous Mumbai traffic every single morning and evening. This office for Capgemini Consulting India Pvt Ltd is essentially a converted apartment space on the sixth floor. It’s actually quite nice because we get a bit of a view of the surrounding area when we aren't staring at our screens. The office is pretty simple. We have a few long tables pushed together to make workstations and a small corner where we keep the kettle for making tea. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find modern art or glass partitions. It’s just us, our computers, and a lot of cables running along the floor. We spend most of our time coordinating with people in different cities, so there is a lot of typing going on. During lunch, we usually clear a bit of space on the main table to sit and eat together. It’s a good time to catch up on things that aren't about work, like family stuff or weekend plans. The building itself is quite busy, so there are always people coming and going in the lift. We’ve gotten to know the security guards and some of the other people who work in the block. It’s a very grounded way to work, staying close to the residential side of things while still getting our daily tasks finished.
