We’re located in Shastri Nagar, Jogeshwari West, right here in Mumbai. It’s a busy spot, as most places in Mumbai are, and we operate out of the space shared with Ramsurat Sinha. Working for Bhushan Steel Ltd. in this city means you have to be fast and adapt to the constant movement. Our days are a mix of managing shipments and dealing with the logistical hurdles that come with being in such a crowded area. Premjeet Kumar and the rest of the team here spend a lot of time making sure every order is tracked correctly. It’s not the kind of job where you have a lot of peace and quiet. There’s always the sound of traffic and people outside. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that; it’s a working office where the focus is on the metal and the paperwork. We just try to stay on top of things so nothing gets lost in the shuffle. The humidity here can be a real challenge for steel storage, so we have to be careful about how things are handled. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time. We don't put on any airs about what we do. It’s just a group of us working hard to make sure the business runs the way it’s supposed to in the heart of Mumbai. Most of the time we are just drinking tea and trying to beat the heat.
