Our place is in the Mhape Industrial Area, at Plot No 3/5 in Ghansoli. If you know Navi Mumbai, you know Mhape is full of factories and warehouses. Basuriwala Foods Private Limited is right in the middle of all that. It’s a busy industrial zone and there is always the sound of trucks and machinery in the background. Our office is part of the same plot where we keep our stuff. It isn’t the kind of place you’d go for a fancy meeting. It is more about getting the food products moved and keeping the records straight. The commute to Ghansoli can be a bit of a pain with the local trains and the shared rickshaws, but we make it work every day. We aren't a huge corporation with thousands of employees. We are just a small group of people running this company. The industrial area has its own vibe—lots of tea stalls and people in work clothes everywhere. We have our routines and we stick to them. Most of our day is spent checking inventory or talking to drivers on the phone. It’s a bit dusty and loud, but it is our workplace and we are used to it by now. We just want to get the job done and keep things moving along without too much fuss. That's our daily life here.
