Hare Krishna Garments

You’ll find Hare Krishna Garments at Shop No. 07 in the Swami Dev Prakash Market. We are right opposite Mansi Palace on Basant Bahar Road. It’s a busy spot, and there’s always someone shouting or a bike horn honking nearby. The shop is cozy, which is a polite way of saying it’s a bit cramped when we get a lot of deliveries. We sell clothes for everyday wear. We don't have a fancy display window with lights that change color. We just put our best items out where people can see them and feel the fabric. The market gets very crowded on the weekends, so that’s when we’re busiest. Most of our time is spent folding clothes or helping someone find a shirt that actually fits. We don't use any high-tech systems; we still write things down in a notebook most of the time. It works for us. We’ve known the other shopkeepers in the market for years, and we all help each other out. We aren't looking to become a huge chain or anything like that. We just like running our shop and seeing familiar faces every day. If the fan is working and the tea is hot, it’s a good day for us here. We keep things simple and try to help every person who walks in.
