It is a very loud and busy place, especially in the middle of the night and early morning. That is when all the trucks come in. We deal with bulk produce, mostly fruits and vegetables. There is always a lot of heavy lifting and moving crates around. The floor is usually wet or covered in bits of hay and cardboard. It is not a place for a quiet chat. We are focused on getting the produce in and getting it out to the retailers. Our team is used to the chaos of the market.
