Asali International

Asali International is set up at No. 38 in the Navtara Industrial Estate. We are over in Shell Pada, which is part of the Kausa area. Working in an industrial estate means you’re always surrounded by other businesses, so there’s a lot of activity and noise from the neighbors. We do a lot of international work, which mostly means we spend our time tracking shipments and dealing with a mountain of paperwork. There are always boxes stacked up somewhere, and the tape dispenser is probably the most used tool in the office. It’s not a very fancy setup. We have some basic desks and a small area where we keep our records. The weather in Kausa can be quite intense, and the warehouse gets warm in the middle of the day, but we just keep the doors open to get a breeze. We are just a regular crew trying to make sure our exports and imports go where they are supposed to go. There’s no big corporate philosophy here. We just show up, check the emails, verify the cargo, and handle the logistics. Sometimes things get delayed at the port and it causes a bit of stress, but that’s just the nature of the business. We focus on the practical side of things and try to keep everything moving as smoothly as possible without making too much of a fuss about it.
