Running a dredging business down at Parsik Rethi Bunder means dealing with a lot of mud and water. We are located at Plot No. 4, right where the action happens in Mumbrad. It is a messy job, honestly. We have the big machines that go out to clear the beds and keep things moving. The sun gets really hot out there on the water, and the guys come back tired every single evening. We spend a lot of time on maintenance because the salt and the silt just eat through everything if you aren't careful. Our office isn't much to look at, mostly just files and some old parts lying around. It gets loud when the engines are all running at once. We have been operating in this area for years, watching the bunder change as time goes by. It is hard work, and things don't always go according to plan. Sometimes a pump breaks or the weather turns bad and we have to stop for the day. You just have to deal with what the river gives you. People think it is just moving dirt, but there is a rhythm to it. We keep the equipment ready and wait for the next task. It's a living, and it keeps us close to the water every day. We don't have a lot of time for fancy meetings, we just focus on the boats and the machinery. That is how we have always done things here at the plot.
