A.R.Steel Traders

A.R.Steel Traders is tucked away on Lbs Marg, specifically in Hardas Nagar within the Azad Nagar I area of Thane West. Lbs Marg is always humming with traffic, so there’s never a quiet moment at our shop. We’ve been trading steel here for a long time. It’s a small operation, really. We keep our stock of various steel sections and traders come by to pick up what they need for their construction sites or small workshops. The space is a bit tight, so we have to be very careful with how we stack the pipes and bars. If you walk into our place, you won’t find any air conditioning or plush chairs. It’s a working trader's shop. We’ve got old desks and a few stools for when people want to sit and talk shop for a minute. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the gauges on the steel. Thane has grown so much around us, but this little corner of Azad Nagar feels the same as it always did. We know the local chai wallah and the other shopkeepers on the block. It’s a community. We don’t do much advertising because most people just know we’re here on the main road. We keep the gates open, wait for the next truck, and just keep moving the steel from the racks to the customer's vehicle. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us very busy from morning till night.
