Amrud Snack Limited

Amrud Snack Limited is based over in Vasai, right in the Garden City area of Vinay Nagar. Our place is up in Estella 2B, unit 2105. It’s a modern residential complex so it’s quite different from a traditional industrial estate. We spend most of our time figuring out new snack ideas in our kitchen area. Sometimes the smell of spices fills up the whole hallway which I hope the neighbors don't mind too much. It’s a small team here, just a handful of us sitting around a table making decisions. We don't have a big corporate board or anything. We just talk about what we think tastes good and what people might want to eat. Vasai is a growing place and we like being part of it. The view from the 21st floor is actually pretty nice when we take a break. We do all the planning and the paperwork from this apartment. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes, keeping the personal space and work space separate. We take our samples to the local markets to see what people think. It’s a lot of trial and error. Some days are slow and we just drink tea and talk. Other days we are running around trying to meet deadlines. It is just a normal small business trying to get things off the ground. We hope to keep this going for as long as we can.
