Ambuja Cements Ltd

We operate out of Nagarkar Chawl, specifically at number 4 on Kamgar Hospital Road in Thane. It is a busy little corner of the world. Ambuja Cements Ltd is the name on all our official documents, but to the people around here, we are just the guys at the warehouse. The area is always crowded with people heading to the hospital or just going about their daily business in Ramchandra Nagar No. 1. Our space is very practical and definitely lived-in. There is usually a thin layer of dust on everything, but that is expected when you are dealing with building materials all day. We spend most of our time checking orders and making sure the loaders are doing their bit out front. It is not a polished environment. We have old metal fans that creak and chairs that have seen better days over the years. But it works for us. We know the local drivers by their first names and they know we do not like it when they are late for a pickup. We do not have any mission statements on the wall; we just have a big calendar and a list of deliveries. It is about getting the job done before the sun goes down and the Thane traffic gets even worse than usual. It is just regular daily business, nothing more and nothing less for our small crew.
