Our office is at A 503 Royal Nest Chs Ltd in Mira Road East. It’s right behind the Reliance Petrol Pump and near Shivar Garden. Akbar Online Booking Co Pvt Ltd is basically a room full of computers and ringing phones. The building is a typical residential-commercial mix in Thane 401107. We spend most of our day sitting in front of monitors. The chairs are the kind with wheels that squeak a bit when you move. We have a lot of charging cables snaking across the desks. From the window on the fifth floor, you can see the traffic building up on Mira Bhayander Road. It gets pretty noisy during rush hour. We have a small pantry area with a microwave and some jars of biscuits. The walls are mostly bare, except for a map and some contact numbers scribbled on pieces of paper taped up. It’s a busy place, but not in a fancy way. We deal with a lot of numbers and names all day long. Sometimes we have to stay late when there are a lot of bookings to handle. The air conditioning keeps it comfortable, but we still like to step out for some fresh air when we can. It’s a straightforward office where we focus on getting the entries right. There’s always someone typing or talking on a headset.
