Our workshop is located at House No 3112 in Old Balaji Nagar. If you know the Gaondevi Temple Road in Ambernath, we are right around there. It’s a busy part of Thane district and there’s always something happening on the street. Working with refrigeration means our hands are usually dirty or cold from handling the units. We handle a lot of cooling systems and spare parts every single day of the week. The space is a bit cramped because we have so many old compressors and tools lying around, but we know where everything is. Ambernath is a decent place to be, and being near the temple means there's always activity and people walking by. It’s a local operation, nothing too big or flashy. We started Acme Refrigeration Co to provide a service that people actually need around here. Maharashtra weather can get really hot, especially in the afternoons, so there's never a slow day for us. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the repairs we have lined up for the next morning. Sometimes we have to go out to someone's house when their fridge stops working, which takes us all over the local area. It’s just how the job is. The address is a bit of a mouthful, but once you find Old Balaji Nagar, it’s not too hard to spot us. We don't have a receptionist, just whoever is free picks up the phone. It’s a simple life.
