Abdullah Steel Art

Our shop is number 7 in the Bhagirathi Plaza, which is located in the Belavali area of Badlapur. We are quite easy to spot because we are right near the Allahabad Bank. The shop isn't very large, but we manage to fit all our tools and the steel we are working on inside. Most of our day is spent welding, cutting, and shaping metal into different designs. You can hear the sparks flying and the sound of the grinder from the street. It gets a bit hot in the small space, especially when the afternoon sun hits the plaza. We have been doing steel art for a while, making things like window grills or gates for the houses around Belavali. It is honest work that leaves your clothes a bit dirty by the end of the shift. We often have customers dropping by to check on their orders or to ask if we can make something specific they saw somewhere. We don't use a lot of fancy machinery, mostly just our hands and some basic power tools. The plaza gets busy in the evenings when people are going to the bank or the other shops nearby. We usually have a bit of a chat with the neighbors while we work. It is a simple life of making things that last out of solid steel and keeping the shop open for whoever needs us.
