You will find Aasha Cancer Hospital & Children First Hospital on the 1st Floor of Ajit Darshan. We are right above the National Punjab Hotel at Teen Petrol Pump in Naupada. It’s a busy intersection and can be quite loud with all the cars and buses passing by. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up or take the lift, but once you’re inside, it’s a bit quieter. We deal with two very different things here. On one side, we have children coming in for their shots or when they have a cough. On the other side, we have patients dealing with cancer, which is much more serious and takes a lot more time. It’s a strange mix but we manage to keep the two parts of the clinic running. The hotel downstairs always smells like food, which is a bit of a distraction during the day when we are hungry. We have some small rooms for consultations and a space where the kids can sit while they wait. The walls aren't perfect and the floors show some wear from all the walking, but we keep everything as tidy as we can. Dealing with cancer is tough for everyone involved, so we try to be as straightforward as possible with families. We’ve been in Naupada for a while and most of the shops around here know us. It’s just a regular medical workplace where we try to help whoever walks through the door.
