Up here on the sixth floor of Rinka Tower in Bageshree Park, things stay pretty busy. We’re part of Aakit Technologies Pvt Ltd, and this Thane office is where we handle a lot of the daily grind. It’s a decent spot, though the parking in the park area can be a bit of a puzzle if you arrive late in the morning. We’ve got a view of some other buildings and a bit of greenery if you lean out the window far enough. Inside, it’s mostly desks and a few old chairs that we probably should have replaced last year. We do a lot of tech support and system work. It’s the kind of job where you start with one problem and end up finding five more that need fixing. We don’t have a big sign out front or anything, just a small nameplate on the door. Most of the guys here live nearby in Thane or commute from the outskirts. We share a lot of tea and talk about the cricket scores while waiting for files to upload. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a blessing in the summer heat. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment, just a group of people who know their way around a computer. We try to keep things simple. If the software breaks, we fix it. If a client calls, we answer. That’s pretty much the whole story of how we run things in this office. No frills, just work.
