Our place is situated in the Age area of Surat with the pin code 394515. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city center but that gives us more room to breathe. We handle our steel business from here in Gujarat. It’s a basic operation without any of those modern bells and whistles. We have a small office and some space for storage. Most of our time is spent on the phone or talking to people who come by. We don't have a mission statement hanging on the wall. We just show up and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, and we just deal with it. That’s the reality of running a shop in this part of the country. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the steel gets to where it’s supposed to go. Our staff has been with us for a long time, so we all know how things work. There isn't a lot of hierarchy. If something needs to be moved, we all help out. The air here can be dusty because of all the construction nearby, but it shows the area is growing. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the daily grind. It’s simple, honest work and we like it that way.
