Our branch of Essar Steel Ltd is located right on Hazira Road in Surat. This is a very busy part of the city, with a lot of heavy vehicles moving back and forth all day long. The address is 394515, and if you come here, you’ll see exactly what I mean about the industrial scale of the area. It’s noisy and there’s a lot of dust, but that’s where the steel business happens. We operate from this location because it puts us right near the main transit routes. Our office is functional and built for work, not for showing off. We spend our time managing the logistical side of things, dealing with the trucks that come in and out, and making sure the steel products are moving according to schedule. It’s a demanding environment but we are used to it. We don't have time for fancy talk. We just focus on the logistics and the physical movement of the goods. The people who work here are practical and they know the steel business inside and out. It’s a tough location because of the heat and the traffic, but it’s the best place for us to be if we want to stay on top of the operations. We are just a group of people doing our jobs in a very busy industrial hub. We keep things simple and try to get home on time despite the road being blocked by trailers.
