Yahoo English Medium School

People always ask about the name, but we’ve been Yahoo English Medium School for a long time now. We are located in Paidiparru, which is a part of Tanuku. It’s a nice area, and we are right there among the houses and local shops. The school isn't very big, but we make the most of the space we have. Every morning starts with the assembly, and you can hear the kids reciting their prayers from down the street. We focus on teaching in English, which is what the parents around here are looking for. The classrooms are simple, with wooden desks and blackboards that have seen better days, but they serve the purpose well enough. We don’t have a lot of fancy gadgets or computers in every room. It’s mostly just books, pens, and a lot of talking between the teachers and the students. During the monsoon, the yard gets a bit muddy, so we have to keep the kids inside more often than we’d like. Our staff is mostly local people who know the families in Paidiparru well. We don’t do big advertisements in the papers. Most people find out about us because their neighbor’s kid comes here. It’s a small-town school vibe where everyone knows everyone else. We just try to keep the kids disciplined and help them pass their exams. It’s a lot of hard work, but seeing the students grow up and move on to college makes it feel worth it.
