Adarsh High School

Adarsh High School sits in the Sajjapuram area of Tanuku. It’s a local school where we look after the kids from the neighborhood and the nearby streets. The building isn't brand new, but it has seen a lot of students pass through its doors over the years. We have the usual classrooms, a small playground area, and a spot where the teachers sit during their break. Most of us who work here live just a short walk or bike ride away, so we know the parents and the grandparents too. Mornings are always the busiest time when the bells start ringing and everyone is rushing to get to their seats. We don't have fancy equipment, but we make sure there are enough benches and chalk for every class. The sun gets quite hot in Sajjapuram in the afternoons, so we try to keep the rooms as cool as we can with the fans. It’s just a normal school where children learn their math and history every day. We focus on the basics and making sure the kids show up on time and do their work. You can hear the sounds of lessons and kids playing from the road if you’re passing by. It’s a simple setup, really. We’ve been part of Tanuku for a long time, and we plan to stay right here for the kids. It’s a lot of work, but seeing them grow up is worth it.
