Tharam Exports

Tharam Exports is based out of 41, New State Bank Colony in West Tambaram. It’s a decent area, mostly residential around us, which makes the morning commute a bit easier than if we were in the middle of the city. Our office is a converted space that fits our desks and all the boxes we have to ship out. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails to make sure things are moving across borders like they should. It’s a lot of logistics and double-checking numbers. The New State Bank Colony is a quiet neighborhood, so we try not to make too much noise when the delivery trucks come to pick up the crates. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the big wooden table we use for meetings, and we have to spend a Saturday just clearing it all out. We don't have any flashy displays or a showroom. It’s just us, some computers, and a lot of packing tape. Usually, there’s a stack of newspapers in the corner and someone’s half-finished coffee. We’ve been in West Tambaram long enough that we know the local courier guys by name. It’s a practical way to run a business. We just keep our heads down and make sure the export documents are handled correctly. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps the lights on and the goods moving. We mostly just focus on the task right in front of us.
