You can find us at 8, Periya Colony Extn. Road in Athipet. This is where Heylands Exports (P) Ltd operates from. It’s a bit of an out-of-the-way spot, but it works for what we do. We spend our days dealing with exports, which basically means a lot of packing, labeling, and moving boxes around. The building isn't brand new, and the yard gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but it serves its purpose. We have a small crew here, and most of us live nearby in the colony or just a short bus ride away. It is a lot of physical work, especially when we have big shipments going out. We try to keep things moving so nothing sits around for too long. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit confusing with all the different rules for sending things abroad, but we figure it out as we go. We don't really have a fancy showroom or anything to look at. If you come by, you’ll just see people working and trucks parked out front. It is a straightforward business. We show up early, get the lists sorted, and stay until the last container is sealed up. It gets tiring, but there is a certain rhythm to it that we all like. We’ve been at this for a long time now and have no plans to change how we do things. We just keep working.
