Our office is in F2 Chitra Enclave, which is on Plot No. 1 along Aarthi Nagar 1st Street. It is in the Selaiyur area, specifically on the East Tambaram side. Since we are in an apartment building, it does not really look like a business from the outside. We use the space to manage all our export paperwork and coordinate where things are supposed to be going. There is always a lot of phone calls to make and emails to answer. We do not actually keep any big shipping containers here at the office. That would never fit in a residential enclave like this. Most of what we do is the behind-the-scenes work, making sure goods get from one place to another without too many headaches. The room is filled with some old filing cabinets and a couple of desks that have seen better days. Outside, the street is usually full of parked scooters and people walking to the local shops. East Tambaram is a busy place, but our little corner of Aarthi Nagar stays relatively quiet most of the time. We have had a few issues with the internet connection lately, which is a real pain when you are trying to track shipments across the ocean. We just drink our coffee and keep typing away. It is a lot of staring at screens and checking schedules. We do not have a big team, just a couple of us handling the daily work.
