Rods Exports

Our place is over in Balaji Nagar, specifically at Plot 157 on 7th Cross Street. It’s close to Bharat Engineering College, so there are always students around the neighborhood. We’ve been here in Madam Pattampakkam for a while. The office is called Simera, and it’s mostly where we handle all the paperwork for the exports. It can get pretty stressful when the deadlines are close and we’re waiting on containers. We deal with various products that need to go overseas. There are lots of forms and phone calls to keep track of. Sometimes the phone doesn’t stop ringing all morning. It’s not a very big team here, just a few of us trying to make sure everything is packed correctly and labeled right. We’ve had times where the rain made it hard to move stuff, but we managed. The street outside is usually quiet compared to the main roads, which is nice. We don't have a big storefront because we don't really sell to people walking by. It’s all about the shipping and logistics. Sometimes we stay late into the evening just to finish the logs and check the tallies. It’s a lot of detail work that most people don’t see when they look at a business like ours. We just try to keep the wheels turning without making too many mistakes. It’s a living, and we’ve gotten used to the fast pace.
