Harish International Exporters

Our office for Harish International Exporters is located at 33 North Saliya Street in Koranad. It’s an old neighborhood and the street is fairly narrow, so things can get a bit crowded when we are loading up goods. We don't have a big fancy warehouse; it’s more of a functional space where we handle all the paperwork and coordination for shipping things out. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking lists to make sure everything is where it should be. We deal with various items that need to go to different places, so there are always boxes and packing materials around. The fans overhead stay on all day to keep the air moving because it gets stuffy with all the files and stock sitting there. We’ve been in Koranad for a while and we know the other traders on the street pretty well. Sometimes we just stand at the door to watch the bikes go by and talk to the neighbors. It’s not a corporate environment with suits and meetings. It’s just us making sure the exports are moving as they should. Sometimes there are delays at the port or issues with the transport trucks, and we have to spend the whole afternoon sorting it out. We keep things simple and just focus on the daily tasks of moving goods from here to wherever they need to go next.
