All About Computer

We are located at Shop No. 14 in Sri Sathya Sai Nagar, over in Tambaram East. It’s a decent little spot and easy enough to find if you’re in the neighborhood. All About Computer is pretty much what the name says. We deal with whatever walks in. Some days it’s a bunch of students from the nearby colleges needing a quick fix for a project, and other days it’s older folks who can’t get their printers to behave. The shop isn’t very big, so we have to keep things organized, or at least we try to most days. Sri Sathya Sai Nagar is a good place to be. It’s got that local feel where everyone knows each other. We’ve got stacks of keyboards and mice in the corner and a few monitors waiting for parts. Tambaram East can get pretty hectic, especially during rush hour, but Shop No. 14 stays mostly focused on the work at hand. We don’t put on any acts or try to sound like a big company. We’re just local guys who understand how frustrating it is when a computer dies right when you need it. We spend our afternoons testing power supplies and reloading software. It’s a lot of sitting and a lot of looking at tiny parts under a lamp. We stay open late most nights because that’s when people realize their stuff is broken.
