Shri Harika Granites

You can find us at Shop No-7A on Chukkalur Road. It’s a simple setup here in Anantapur district. We focus on granites because that’s what we know best. The road outside can get pretty busy with trucks and local traffic, so there is always a bit of a buzz. We spend the morning checking the slabs that came in and making sure they aren't cracked or chipped. It’s heavy work and my back usually feels it by the end of the day. There isn't any fancy marketing here, just us and the granite. We have different colors and thicknesses depending on what the local builders are looking for. Sometimes someone comes in just wanting a small piece for a counter, and other times it's for a whole house. We handle it all the same. The shop isn't huge, but we make use of every inch of space we have. It’s hot during the summer months and the stone stays cool to the touch, which is nice. We’ve been on Chukkalur Road for a bit now and we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It is just a regular life running a granite shop. We open up early and close when the sun goes down or when the work is finished. It’s practical, straightforward, and keeps us busy throughout the week without much fuss. We just take it one slab at a time and try to keep things moving along smoothly for everyone.
