Bhavani Exports

Being out here in Phase-3 of the GIDC Estate means we are surrounded by factories and big warehouses. It is a very industrial area, and that suits us just fine. Our place is at Plot 804. It is a big plot, which we definitely need for all the export stuff we handle every day. There is always a truck backing in or pulling out of the yard. The noise of the estate is something you get used to after working here for a week. We deal with moving goods across borders, which involves a lot of shipping containers and endless paperwork. The office inside the warehouse is a bit loud because of the big fans, but we don't really mind the noise. We've been running Bhavani Exports for some time now. We know the other business owners on this road. We often share tips about logistics or which ports are currently backed up. It is a busy life and we don't have much time for small talk. The focus is always on getting the next shipment ready. We have boxes stacked everywhere. Some are ready to go, and others are just arriving from the suppliers. It is a bit of a maze sometimes. We use a lot of packing tape and permanent markers. The sun gets really hot on the metal roof during the afternoons, so we just drink a lot of water and keep moving. It is just about getting things moved.
