You Try Fashion

You Try Fashion is up on the third floor of the Vishwakarma Bhawan building. It’s right across from Panchratna Tower on L H Road. Getting up here takes a minute, but the view of the traffic in Surat is something else. We’ve been operating from this space for a while. The building is called Eiffel Tower, which sounds grand, but it’s just a normal workplace for us. Every morning, we unlock the doors and start checking the racks. The lighting is okay, but we mostly rely on the windows. L H Road is always noisy, so you can hear the horns all day long. We deal with a lot of clothes and different styles that come in and out. It gets pretty stuffy in the summer, so the fans are always running. Our neighbors in the building are mostly other small businesses, so we all know each other. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall downstairs together. It’s a busy life here in Surat. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the clothes we have and hope people like what they see when they climb up to the third floor. Like I said, we are just opposite Panchratna Tower, so we are easy to find once you are on the main road. Sometimes the elevator is slow, so we take the stairs. It keeps us fit, I guess. We stay open until the market starts to quiet down in the evening.
