Varachha Road is a hectic place to be, especially near Vst Road 58. It’s constant noise and movement out there. Here at Yogi Phones, we’ve gotten used to the chaos. The shop is tucked in among a lot of other businesses, so you have to keep an eye out for us. I spend most of my time behind the counter, either talking to customers or trying to figure out why a phone won’t turn on. We have chargers, batteries, and all sorts of screen guards piled up. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but it’s a working shop. Sometimes the rain comes down so hard on Varachha Road that we have to pull the shutter halfway down to keep the water out. The floor is just tiles that we mop every morning, though they don’t stay clean for long with all the foot traffic. We don’t use any big fancy words to describe what we do here. We just sell phones and fix them when they break. It’s a small space, so when four or five people come in at once, it gets a bit tight. We usually have some music playing or just the sound of the street coming through the door. It’s a practical way to make a living, and we’ve been at this Vst Road spot for a while now. Most people around here know us by name and stop in for a quick chat while they wait.
