Yashwi Creation

Our workshop is located at Ajanta Diamond Industries, specifically units 129 to 125 on the first floor. It’s a bit of a walk up, but we like the space we have here near A.A. Road. Being close to Tomez Power and Uttiya Chowk means there's always activity around the building. We do a lot of our creating right here on the premises. There are sewing machines running most of the day and bits of thread and fabric scraps on the floor. It's a productive mess, I guess you could say. We have a handful of workers who have been with us for a long time. They know the routine and they work hard. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People find out about Yashwi Creation mostly through word of mouth or because they work in the same industrial area. The 1st floor can get a bit warm in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes from the chowk. Dealing with the diamond industry neighbors is interesting, even though we do something completely different. We focus on our designs and making sure each piece is put together correctly. It’s a hands-on job and we are usually tired by the time we lock up at night. But being in a place like Ajanta Diamond Industries gives us the room we need to actually get things made.
