Vrinda Art Fashion

Walking into Adarsh 1 Textile Market can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. We occupy units 279 and 280, right on Ring Road. Vrinda Art Fashion is what we call ourselves, but mostly it's just a bunch of us working through piles of fabric and designs every day. The Ring Road area is always humming with trucks and people carrying bundles on their shoulders. Our space is pretty functional. We have shelves packed with different materials, and there's usually a faint dust from the textiles in the air. It’s not one of those pristine showrooms you see in magazines. It’s a workplace. We spend our time looking at patterns, checking the quality of the prints, and making sure the orders for the fashion houses are getting packed correctly. Sometimes we run out of space because of how much stock comes in at once, so things get a bit cramped. We’ve stayed in this spot because it's right in the heart of the action. You can hear the city outside all day long. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything. We’d rather just get the work done and make sure the clothes and fabrics are looking the way they should. It’s a lot of back and forth with the printers and the tailors. It gets tiring, but seeing the finished products makes it worth the long hours we put in here in the market.
