If you head down to the Jay Shree Ram Textile Market near the NTM Ring Road, you’ll find us on the upper ground floor at shop number 540. The Ring Road area is probably one of the busiest places in the whole city. It’s constant noise and motion with trucks unloading textiles all day and night. We are right in the thick of it at Volstar Fashion. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. Being on the upper ground floor means we get a lot of foot traffic from people walking through the market looking for deals. We spend most of our time unpacking new stock and trying to find places to put it all. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the boxes and bags. We don't have any fancy displays; we just show people what we have. The air in the market is always a bit dusty from all the fabric, but you get used to it after a week or two. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon slump. It’s a tough environment but it’s where the business happens. We’ve been at 540 for a while and have a good relationship with the neighbors. It’s a simple, hardworking life in the textile market, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s about getting the orders filled and keeping the shelves stocked.
