Vnsgu, Surat-Dbim

We are based out of the DBIM department at VNSGU here in Surat, Gujarat. The campus is a big place, and we are just one part of it in the 395007 area. Working in a university setting is different than a regular business. There are always students walking around, and the hallways can get quite loud between classes. Our office isn't anything special. It’s filled with stacks of papers, old textbooks, and a few computers that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time doing the administrative work that keeps the department running. This means handling registrations, looking over schedules, and answering a lot of the same questions over and over. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The desks are a bit scratched up and the air conditioning doesn't always work perfectly, but we make it through the day. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We are just here to make sure the students can get their work done and the teachers have what they need. Sometimes we sit and have lunch together in the office when we can't make it to the canteen. It’s a lot of routine, but every now and then something unexpected happens and we have to scramble to fix it. We aren't trying to impress anyone. We just want the department to function well for everyone who uses it. That is our main goal every single day we come into the campus.
