Viva Fashions

Our office is up in K/1001 at the New T T Tower. If you know where the Textile Tower is on Tarsali Road near the Ring Road, we are right behind it. It is a busy part of the city for fashion and textiles. We spend most of our time here dealing with different styles and keeping track of what is coming in. Being on a higher floor means we get a bit of a view, but mostly we are looking at stacks of clothes and paperwork. The elevator in the building can be a bit slow during the lunch hour, which is always a bit annoying when we are in a hurry. We are not some big corporation with fancy offices. It is just a practical space where we get our daily work done. The area around Tarsali Road is always packed with trucks and rickshaws, so getting things in and out takes a bit of planning. We focus on the daily tasks like checking the stitching and making sure the colors match the samples we were given. There is no big philosophy here, just the reality of running a fashion business in a crowded tower. We have seen many neighbors come and go over the years, but we have stayed put in this unit. Most of our visitors are people we have known for a long time. It is a lot of hard work, especially when the weather gets hot, but we keep at it.
