Vijay Bharati Fashion

Our shop, Vijay Bharati Fashion, is located on the lower ground floor at 302 Ring Road. Being on the lower ground makes it a bit cooler, which is nice. We deal in various types of fashion wear, mostly focused on what people in the area are looking for at the moment. The space is filled with racks and stacks of clothes. It’s not a huge place, so we have to be smart about how we pile things up. We spend most of our time showing different pieces to people who walk in. Some stay for an hour, others know exactly what they want and leave in ten minutes. We don't do any of that fancy branding stuff. It’s just us and the clothes. Sometimes the lighting down here is a bit dim, but we have enough lamps to show the details of the embroidery. My brother helps me out with the heavy lifting and the accounts. We try to stay organized, but with so many new designs coming in every week, it’s a constant struggle to keep the shelves tidy. We like the location because it’s right in the heart of the textile district. You see all kinds of people passing by. It’s an honest living, and we just take it one day at a time. The stairs coming down can be a bit steep, so we tell people to watch their step. That's about it really.
