Vihaan Creation

Our place is inside the Surat Textile Market, specifically unit F-2032. If you’ve been to the Ring Road area, you know how crowded it gets with all the trucks and people moving bales of cloth. We are right in the middle of all that. Vihaan Creation is basically just us working with various designs and getting them out to the market. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's more of a workspace and a place to keep our stock. There are always people coming in and out, asking about new arrivals or checking on orders. It’s a bit noisy with all the activity in the corridors, but that’s the energy of the market. We've got shelves packed with different fabrics. Sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit because of all the bags and rolls of cloth. We drink a lot of chai to keep going through the afternoon. It's a simple operation. We aren't trying to impress anyone with decor; we just care about the items we are moving. The days are long, starting early when the market opens and finishing up late after the last dispatch is done. It’s a lot of work, but we've been doing it this way for a long time. The floor is usually covered in bits of thread and plastic, but we sweep up before heading home. It's just how the market life is.
