Our place is in the Regent Textile Market, specifically Wing A-1, Block 2004. It’s right there at Kamela Darwaja on Ring Road. Varsiddhi Fashions Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this unit for a while. If you know Surat, you know how busy Kamela Darwaja can get. There’s a constant stream of workers and goods moving through the hallways. Our space isn't very large, but we use every inch of it for storing and sorting our fashion items. We have a few desks tucked in the corner for the paperwork. It’s a bit dusty because of all the fabric, but that’s just how textile markets are. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or decorations. We’d rather just get the work done. The guys in the warehouse part of the unit know exactly where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to an outsider. We open up early because that’s when the transporters come through. Dealing with customers and suppliers all day keeps us on our toes. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We share lunch together most days and talk about the market news. It feels more like a family than a big company. We are just a bunch of people trying to run a decent business in a very crowded market. We don't have a big story, just daily effort and some long hours at the shop. It is mostly about keeping up with the orders and staying organized.
