Vamananda Fashion

Vamananda Fashion is up at I-3508 in Kaiash Darshan. We are near Grant Road and Nana Chowk, and also close to the Ring Road area. It is a busy spot with a lot of movement every hour of the day. Our space is located in a large building, so you have to look for the section number I-3508 on the sixth floor. It can be a bit of a maze if you are visiting for the first time. We spend most of our time surrounded by piles of cloth and different fashion items. The windows give us a view of the busy streets below. You can hear the horns honking and the general buzz of the city. We have a few tables where we spread out our work to see it better. The lighting inside is just standard, nothing special. We keep a diary of all the things we need to do each week. Sometimes we get behind on our notes, but we always catch up eventually. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things from one corner to another. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the long afternoons. The building itself is old but it has a lot of character for us. We are just regular people working in the fashion trade. We don't have a mission statement or any of that. We just show up, do the work, and go home.
