Valam Fashions

Our place, Valam Fashions, is in the Shri Padmavati Textile Market. We are at Shop No. 602 on the upper ground level. Being on Ring Road means there is never a quiet moment. The market is always full of people moving stuff around. We have a decent amount of space, but it fills up fast with new stock. We repeat the address a lot because the market name is written twice on some forms. It's just one of those things. The upper ground is a good spot because we don't have to climb too many stairs. We spend most of our time sorting through different fabrics and checking the lists. Sometimes the fans make a bit of a rattling noise, but we just ignore it. There are so many shops around us that it feels like a little city inside the building. We know the security guards and the other shop owners nearby. We don't try to look like a big corporate office because we are not. We are just here to work and run the shop every day. The morning starts with us unlocking the metal gate and moving some boxes out of the way. By the time evening rolls around, we are usually tired but the work is mostly done. It is just the way things go in this part of town and we are happy with it.
