Vastrangam

You can find us way up on the 14th floor of Aditya Awas. The unit number is 1402. We are right near the New Bombay Market in Umarwada. Being on the 14th floor gives us a bit of a view of the city which is nice when we have a minute to breathe. The elevator is usually busy because this building has a lot of businesses in it. We call ourselves Vastrangam. Most of what we do involves the textile trade which makes sense since we are so close to the New Bombay Market. It is a hectic area always full of trucks and people carrying big bags of cloth. Our office is a mix of a showroom and a workspace. We have samples hanging up and boxes stacked against the walls. It is not the most organized place but we know where everything is. We are not some fancy fashion house with a runway. We are just workers who know fabric and how the market works. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and customers. It is loud and it is busy and it is always moving. We do not have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we have been here for a bit and people know they can come up to the 14th floor to find us. It is just Vastrangam doing our thing every day.
