Blueshine Garments

Our shop is right across from the Ankur Weigh Bridge in Udhyognagar. The address is Plot No. A/13/4 on Road No. 6 in Udhna. It is a good landmark because everyone knows the weigh bridge. We spend our days surrounded by fabric and finished clothes. There are piles of shirts and trousers waiting to be packed up in the back. We have several sewing machines set up and someone is always sitting at them. It gets a bit loud with all the motors running at once. We have worked in Udhna for a long time and know the way the traffic flows on Road No. 6. Sometimes it is hard for the delivery vans to pull in. We just handle it as it comes. The lighting in the shop is okay, but we use extra lamps when we are doing the fine stitching. It isn't a glamorous job but we like seeing the finished product. We try to keep the floors swept but thread gets everywhere anyway. It is just the two of us and a few helpers most days. We drink tea in the afternoon and then get back to the machines. We don't have a big website or anything, just this place in Udhyognagar. People know us by the name on the door and the work we put out. It is a steady life and we are glad to have the space.
