Our spot is in the Millenium Textile Market, specifically units N-2736 and 37. If you have ever been there, you know how massive that place is. It is like a maze of corridors and shops. We spend a lot of time navigating the hallways just to get to the entrance. Having two units next to each other gives us a bit more room to breathe, but it still fills up fast with stock. Tulsi Fashion has been here in this market for a while. Every day is pretty much the same routine of opening up, checking the orders, and chatting with the neighbors. The market is always loud with the sounds of packing tape and carts being pushed around on the tile floors. It’s a very busy environment and you can’t really avoid the crowd. We usually have tea delivered to the shop twice a day which is a nice break from the work. The lights stay on all day because there isn't much natural sun reaching our part of the building. We focus on getting things out on time and making sure the inventory is right. It is hard work and the days are long, often stretching into the evening. We don't use any fancy systems, just keep track of everything in our own way. It’s a local business through and through, just doing what we know how to do best in this big market.
