Tulsi Beauty Parlour & Classes

Tulsi Beauty Parlour & Classes is located in shop twelve of the Shivam Complex. We are right on Sitanagar Road, which is always noisy because of the Bombay Market nearby. Being so close to the bus stand means we see a lot of people passing by all day long. I opened this place because I wanted to offer beauty services but also teach others how to do them. The back of the shop is where we hold the classes. It can get a bit crowded when we have students and regular customers at the same time, but we make it work. We’ve been in this spot for quite a few years now. The building is a bit old, but it stays cool enough in the summer. We do everything from simple threading to more complex facials. It’s a local business through and through. We don't use any fancy marketing talk or try to sound like a big salon from the city center. We use regular products and focus on getting the job done right. Sometimes we sit out front and have tea when it's slow. People in this part of Surat know us well. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We stay busy with the teaching part mostly, and it’s nice to see young girls learning a trade. We keep the shop open late for people coming home from the market. It's just a regular part of the neighborhood where people come to chat and look a bit better.
