If you are looking for us, we are at Plot No I 87 on Road No. I 5 in the GIDC area of Sachin, Surat. This whole area is nothing but factories and warehouses as far as you can see. It gets very humid here, and the roads are always full of tempo trucks and workers on bicycles. Our place is basically a big warehouse where we store everything we sell. It isn't the cleanest place because of all the dust from the industrial zone, but we try our best to keep the stock in good shape. We spend a lot of our day checking manifests and making sure the loading is happening correctly. It's a lot of manual work, moving boxes and counting items. We don't have any big corporate mission; we just want to sell our goods and make enough to keep the lights on. The office is just a corner of the warehouse with a couple of fans and a computer that’s a bit slow. We know most of the other guys on Road I 5, and we often share a meal or some water during the breaks. Being in Sachin GIDC means you’re always busy because there is always something moving. We just stay focused on our orders and try not to get too stressed when the rains make the roads muddy and the trucks get stuck.
