The Vintage

You’ll find us at G 7 IBC on Gaurav Path in the Piplod area of Surat. The Vintage is quite close to the Big Bazar, so there are always people walking around our part of the building. Despite the name, we aren't filled with antiques or anything like that. We just liked how the word sounded when we first opened up. The restaurant is a practical space for anyone who’s out shopping or working in Piplod. We have a few tables and a kitchen that stays busy most of the day. It’s not a polished corporate place with uniforms and scripts. We just talk to people like normal and get them what they need. Some days the music might be a little loud or a table might wobble, but we try to fix things when we notice them. Surat is a city that loves food, so we just try to be one of the reliable spots people can count on when they're in this neighborhood. We don't do much in the way of promotion. The location on Gaurav Path helps people find us anyway. We spend a lot of time making sure we have what we need for the day and keeping the place decent. It’s hard work and the hours are long, but it’s our business and we take it seriously in our own way. We're just a small part of the local community here.
