The Queen Fashion

You can find us at The Queen Fashion, tucked away on the ground floor of the Old Aditya Awas building. We are right in the middle of the Old Bombay Market area near Umarwada, so it is always incredibly busy. There are people everywhere, and the noise of the market is constant from morning until night. Our shop is small and packed with as many clothes as we can fit on the walls and shelves. We don't have a lot of room to move around, especially when customers are inside. Most of our time is spent helping people find the right size or haggling a bit over prices, which is just how things work here. The space is a little dark because we are on the ground floor, but we have plenty of lights to show off the colors of the dresses. We don't bother with fancy decorations or expensive displays. The clothes speak for themselves, and we just want to make sure people leave with something they like. It gets very hot during the day, so we usually have a small fan blowing right on us at the counter. Working in the market is exhausting but it’s never boring. We know all the other vendors and we look out for each other. It’s just a normal shop run by normal people who have been in the fashion trade for a long time.
