The Professionals

Our office is at 306 Dumas Road. It is a busy part of town and there is always a lot of noise from the street below. The building is fairly standard, and we have been in this particular unit for a while now. When you walk in, you’ll see a few desks, some computers, and probably some half-empty coffee mugs sitting around. We aren't really into the whole high-end corporate look, so the furniture is just stuff we’ve picked up over time. It’s a place where people actually work, so it gets a bit messy sometimes with files and notes everywhere. We spend most of the day on the phone or typing away at our keyboards. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which isn't great when it's hot outside. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it helps us stay awake during the afternoon slump. We have a small area where we keep a kettle and some biscuits for when we take a break. It is not a huge team here, just a handful of us who know how the day-to-day stuff runs. We don't really do anything fancy with the decor, just some calendars on the wall and maybe a plant that someone forgot to water. It’s just a normal office on Dumas Road where we show up and do our jobs every day without making a big deal of it.
